I just a quick note: I bought some polyester blend fabric yesterday and completed 4-6 Infinity Scarves this morning! Just a Reminder....

Take advantage of the last day of sales on my Etsy! The existing sale will end at 6pm eastern time and the new items will begin appearing early Friday October 22nd in the am. Moving New Items into my Etsy Shop Earlier!

Hello readers! I wanted to keep you informed for when the new items would start to arrive into my Etsy shop! The 4th of July has just Opened in My Etsy Shop!

Good morning everyone! I how are you all doing? Hasn't it been just beautiful out lately? It is due to be another very warm/beautiful day here again today but we are expecting cooler weather, 50's, this weekend. If this the case for you too don't fear..the warm weather will return. It is still early yet and there is plenty more "nice" weather to enjoy! Be sure to go out and enjoy what we will be getting, wait until the cool spell passes, and sure enough this great weather will be here to stay! Yippee!

Well I promised I would be back and bring some new items with me...red, white and blue was going to be the theme and sure enough I have just filled my shop again. This time it is with Americana goodies. Uncle Sams with Pinwheels , Patriotic Annies and Frogs, Sun Flower Americana Black Gals, and Annies that are dressed for the upcoming 4th of July Celebration are just some of what I have moved in.





























I also listed another Ugly Dream Angel and Cat and Mouse Set that sold a week ago incase you were interested in buying one of these yourself! I ended up just adding to my list of Items in my Etsy shop and hope to get a few more things made for this very special celebration so be watching!

Additions and Changes made in my Etsy and FuzzB Shops!

Hello all! I have been so busy the past will getting my slide show on Fuzzb, getting new pictures posted and getting new items listed. I have added my Etsy shop mini widget to my fuzzB social page...along with my networking signup to follow my blog. This shop in general has truly been through an overhaul and more. Now I can begin new items to add to this shop and my Etsy shop as well.The new items I've added here are many and you must go in to see them all! This shop is certainly now growing and plan to continue to add more items as I continue to create so be watching!

In Etsy I have added two new items: an Annie and Andy "Luck of the Irish" doll set. Yup I realize Saint Patricks Day has come and gone...but this set would actually look cute year round out where your visitors can view them. Best of all this set is a set that I created myself ...so there is no set like it anywhere! It is TOTALLY original!

I have also added a set of primitive cats with the eyelids and beautiful hypnotic eyes. Everyone seems to love this set no matter what fabric is used or what style the cats are made in they are always a hit!

I hope you have enjoyed hearing what I've been up to, the changes you will see in both shops, and hear some of the new items that you can expect to see. Three Bunnies Hopping Down the Bunny Trail!

Good morning readers! How are all of you since my giveaway? I am hoping that all is going fine with all of you! I just wanted to take some time and show you a few of my new additions to my Etsy shop. New Items listed on Etsy!

Good morning readers! Are you staying warm so far this Fall? That cool weather came upon us very quickly this year...don't you think? We always know ..when we feel alittle lighter in the wallet that the colder weather is with us! Our house is totally electric , except for a few things like the oven/stove is gas, that when the temps in the house have to come up...our electric bill ends up feeling the brunt of things! So far so good for keeping it at a reasonable temp. We always have the gas burner in the extra room if we need to...but again it is sparingly! Too bad this year it couldn't be a warm snow!LOL Just a thought!

Well I am here today to tell you that I have posted a few new items in my Etsy shop and invite all of you to take a look. I know I said I would go back to more Halloween items but I got the Santa bug going through my veins right now and thought I'd go with that! I know I didn't make many Santas last year and thought I'd try to make up this year! I know they are very popular and plan to hit snowmen and angels alike...so keep watch!

The first two that I've done this year are door greeters and are just so prim and Christmasy that I just couldn't hold myself back from getting their patterns. One is a Tennessee Ridge Primitives pattern of a Santa Holding a bouquet of dried flowers, a teddy bear and handmade candy canes. The second is a pattern from Snugglebug Blessings of a Santa with a bag of candycanes. This one has sticks for legs and is just so primitive perfect...and is also a door hanger!







I have also made a few new Maude Addie Dolls and their Geese that look more Fallish than what I have done in the past. I have also made the sleeves differently then my past Maudes to make a slight difference in their overall appearance. These dolls have always had that Fall/ Christmasy feel, the fact they come with geese, and the clothes always help that feeling along. These of course have the clothing AND the geese pointed towards colder weather months ....so I thought that someone may take a special liking to them to fullfill their needs for home decor for the fall and winter seasons.

I will be putting some snowman ornies on the list next and will get to them soon. I have more artists to feature from OFG and will get to those very soon! I apologize fo getting behind on my artists for I got caught up in my creations and we all know what that means!

I also have had such a desire to make sugar cookies and may get to those before anything else! Funny I haven't looked at a cookie in a month and now am spending hours looking through cookie books to find the perfect cookie! These are my personal favorite and then will fill a request for my husband for peanutbutter cookies.

I will leave the recipes with you so if you are in need of some cookies and don't have a recipe right at hand here they are!

Ethel's Sugar Cookies:

3/4 cup shortening (part butter or magarine)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups gold meda flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, flavoring thoroughly.
Measure flour and stir in baking powder, salt and blend in.
Chill 1 hour
Heat oven to 400
Roll dough 1/8" and cut with 3" cookie cutter
Place on ungreased baking sheet
Bake 6-8 min. or until cookies are light golden color
Makes about 4 doz.

Peanutbutter cookies

1/2 cup Butter flavor Crisco
1 cup creamy jif peanut butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tbs. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/4 cup flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Heat oven 375
Cream butter flavored crisco, peanutbutter, sugar, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in bowl until well blended
Combine flour baking soda, baking powder and salt,and mix into creamed mixture
Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet and flatten into crisscross patttern with a fork dipped in flour
Bake at 375 for 8-10 mins and cool 2 minutes on baking sheet.
Makes 2 Dozen 1/2" cookies

I'm a bit behind on my latest news!

Good morning readers! I am soo sorry but I am a bit behind on my latest news and am struggling now to get back on top of the lastest information of interest so that you are right with me on what has been happening and new items that have been listed!

First of all welcome! Have you made the transition from Summer to Fall successfully? I sure hope so... part of me was lost sometime this Summer/Spring with all that has been happening with my son getting married and Nicole, his wife, trying to get to the states ...but is currently being held up by legal issues of U.S. and Canadian recogition of her citizenship and marriage to my son here in the states and her home country. We think about you every day Nicole and are with you in mind and heart that it won't be much longer!


Ok....now what is new! I have added a number of Halloween items in my Etsy shop and welcome you all to come and view what is new. I have bat ornies , a doll greeter, shelf sitter to Halloween dolls listed now in attempt to get ready for the Fall/Halloween season/holiday. I have just donated my first item...one of the larger Annie dolls that I have mentioned in my blog, on swings...but this one isn't on a swing...for a very important cause in my location. There is going to be a Fall the 2nd Fall Festival that will take place in Blossburg Pa that will help raise money for the children's playground for the Blossburg elementary students. New items just put into my shop!

Hello all! I have some quick news for you today! I have just listed three more items into my Etsy shop and invite you to come take a look! One item is the cutest door greeter by Threadbare primitives. It is a bee holding her hive to put on your door or to place on a shelf. I just love how her face turned out and how cute this creation looks hanging on my door! Yes I made one for myself!LOL

The second item is a Raggedy Annie and Mammy pillow tuck, bowlfiller or ornie set. Whatever you call them they are just the greatest in a bowl, tucked away on a shelf or in anywhere that needs a little decoration. A Dove has joined my Etsy shop for Valentine's Day!

Good morning all! How are all of you doing that have been expecting ALOT of snow? In PA I would have to say that we must have at least 4"-5" out of the 10" that was expected. Unless we get the rest today! I was watching the news and saw all the snow Ohio and other areas have gotten and can't believe all that they have!!!! If you are one in these areas that got alot of snow please be careful going out and remember your boots. Thought it was your mother speaking didn't ya? Seems like the older I get the more of my mother's sayings I hear out of my own mouth! I guess it is a normal reaction when you become a mother...and sometimes even when your not one!!LOL

Are you in the mood for LOVE?

Hello all! How is your 2009 going? Are you remembering to write the year as 2009? This year , so far, so good for me! How are you all doing on your resolutions? If your doing fine...good for you and keep going. If you haven't started yet..there is always time to get going and start your changes. Did you give up? I'm sorry to hear that if that is your case...well maybe later this year or try again next year!

I'm winning half of my resolution and that is to keep my business producing ...but have to admit there is not much happening with the weight loss. At least I'm not gaining anything! I'll keep trying though!

I hope you aren't giving up on me! My son has left, once again, and my husband just went back to work today! I have been working on some new Valentine's Day items and have been picking and grinning , in between all the other things I have had going on lately, and I managed to get two more items up for sale in my Etsy shop. Hello everyone! How was your Christmas holiday? I hope all of you got what you have been wanting! Well New Years is next! Are you ready for 2009? What is your New Years resolutions? Mine , as usual, is to take off some pounds and to hit my business hard. Actually, I have started part of my resolution today by adding some new items to my shop and would like to take this time to share with you what is new! I have four new items I have just listed. Three new items just listed in my Etsy Shop!

Good morning everyone! I have worked so hard this week to get another item ready to put into my Etsy shop and want to share with you what the new arrival is. I made a snowman and Annie doll/ shelf sitter set that is called "Learning to Skate" and the little Annie is wearing the most precious skates! This is a wonderful set and would be just the decoration you need to top off your holiday decorations! I have also listed another lamp with this one including both the girl and the boy angel dolls in the same lamp! This is a very attractive lamp and would be just beautiful on a coffee table, on a tv entertainment center or in a child's room. It gives off a very soft glow of light is not overwhelming to have in a room! Lastly, there are three mice, each in their own Christmas mittens , that can hang from the Christmas tree, key holder , or an old cupboard. They are just the sweetest!
